Why TRC?

TRC Muskoka Ltd. has been building quality homes in Muskoka since 1988. Our work has always been rooted in craftsmanship, reliability, and respect for this incredible landscape, and has grown into a trusted name in residential construction. We are happy to introduce Jamie Black as the new co-owner of TRC Muskoka.​​

Our Approach

We don't specialize in just one type of work. From custom boathouses and docks to seasonal cottages and year-round homes, we take pride in tackling whatever challenge a project demands. Our smaller crew typically consists of 4 to 6 skilled carpenters, supervisors, and helpers, ensuring every build gets the attention it deserves.

Our hands-on approach isn't just about quality. We believe in honesty, empathy, and recognizing that every customer's needs are different.

 

Our Standards

We maintain full WSIB coverage, current safety training, and work exclusively with licensed, insured subtrades. Our longstanding membership in the Muskoka Builders Association and registration with Tarion Warranty Corporation reflect the standards to which we hold ourselves.

We have strong relationships with local building officials, thorough knowledge of bylaws, and a fully equipped shop with modern tools, work trucks, and boats.
