We have been building in the residential construction industry since 1988 and have operated as an incorporated company since 1994. Over the years, we have completed many custom seasonal and year-round cottages, built a wide range of docks, and constructed everything from swim platforms to elaborate two-storey boathouses. Landmark boathouse construction remains one of our specialties.

 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our growing team. This role has the potential to develop into a supervisory position for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

The ideal candidate is a strong team player who can also work independently. This is a full-time, year-round position, with benefits available. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, as well as their own vehicle to travel to various job sites throughout Muskoka.

• Finish Carpentry

• Exterior Finishing

• Interior Finishing

• Window and Door Installation

• Miscellaneous Carpentry

• Skilled Labour Work

 

Qualifications and Skills

Required

• Experienced Carpenter position: minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction carpentry

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract

• Own vehicle to get to and from job sites

• Fall Arrest certification an asset but could be provided ASAP upon hiring

• The applicant must also have their own basic hand tools

 

Preferred

• First Aid certification

• WHMIS training

• Boater License

• Salary: $28 - $35
