We have been building in the residential construction industry since 1988 and have operated as an incorporated company since 1994. Over the years, we have completed many custom seasonal and year-round cottages, built a wide range of docks, and constructed everything from swim platforms to elaborate two-storey boathouses. Job Description

We are looking for one junior carpenter/carpenter's assistant to join our growing team.

The suitable candidate would be a good team player and able to work independently. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits available; however, if you're in Muskoka for the summer (even students!) and are looking for a summer job, we are open to this as well! Applicants must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and have their own vehicle to get to various work locations in Muskoka.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Framing Carpentry

• Finish Carpentry

• Exterior Finishing

• Interior Finishing

• Window and Door Installation

• Miscellaneous Carpentry

• Skilled and Unskilled Labour Work

 

Qualifications and Skills

Required

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract

• Own vehicle to get to and from job sites

• The applicant must also have their own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, pouch, safety footwear)

 

Preferences

• 1 year of experience in hands-on construction work

• Fall Arrest Certification an asset, but could be provided ASAP upon hiring

• First Aid certification

• WHMIS training

• Boater License

 

Compensation

• Salary: $18 - $24
