Tony - President
Tony was introduced into the construction industry in 1987 after a 6 year stint as a Navigation Officer in the Canadian Navy. Following a dream to build his own home, he was immediately thrust into the very steep learning curve of house construction working with a group of very talented craftsmen local to the Windermere area. That house was finished in 1989 and was the first of many projects completed on Muskoka waterfronts.
Tony has worked on a huge array of waterfront constructions including steel and crib dock new construction and repairs, cottage additions, foundation repairs, decks, boathouses, new cottages and commercial work. His strengths are in establishing and maintaining trusting client relationships and staying on top of the ever evolving progress of the building sciences. Tony is currently a student of residential design having mentored under many excellent Architects, Engineers and Design Technologists and has assisted numerous clients through the design process over the past 2 decades. He along with his wife Deirdre have designed their new home. This house is of a contemporary design incorporating the most current energy efficiency techniques and is a testament to the old adage that form can most beautifully follow function. This build has been catalogued and can be found in the Gallery under Dream Home on this site.
Tony enjoys snowmobiling and snowshoeing during Muskoka winters and mountain biking, motorcycle touring and camping in the summer and shoulder seasons.
